BEEKEEPER MENTOR PROGRAM

The Beaver Valley Area Beekeepers Association is developing a Beekeeping Mentor Program.

Interested in keeping bees yourself? A good way to get started is attend our club meeting and events. Another is to speak to an experienced beekeeper in your area who can give you some sage advice. The following members of BVABA have volunteered to field questions from new beekeepers. We believe it is important to the success of new beekeepers to have a "support network".

In return, we ask you join us in promoting beekeeping by:

-- becoming a member yourself
-- volunteering for club activities when possible
--taking a beginnner beekeeping course or studying a manual
